You will learn about John George Haigh, The Acid Bath Murderer and John Reginald Halliday Christie who preyed on vulnerable female victims, killing them with domestic gas. Visit the site where Ruth Ellis (the last women to be hanged in the UK) shot her lover in a crime of passion.
Hear the story of the “Blitz Ripper” who preyed on his victims during the time of the air raids in Word War II.
Capital punishment was still the Law of the Land when many of these murderers came to trial. Find out the different techniques used by the famous hangmen of their time like Albert Pierrepoint and William Mawood to despatch these desperate soles to meet their maker.
